Bella’s Lullaby

November 28, 2008

Dear World,

Ok, so I know those aren’t the actual lyrics, but, well, there AREN’T any lyrics so I had to put SOMETHING.

HAPPY BELATED THANKSGIVING!  Yesterday my grammy, poppop (grandfather), aunt, cousins, and one of my cousins boyfriend came over.  It was a lot of fun and we had some very gooooood food.  I must say I am STILL stuffed and NEVER want to see another pie again (at least for a while)!  The parade was fantastic.  Did anyone else notice that all of America got RICK ROLL’D ahahha!  That was certainly priceless!

So many people go shopping on Black Friday, but it is actually a tradition for me to NOT go :).  I like to go shopping when basically NO ONE is in the store, is it so much better.

So today is my dad’s birthday :).  We are watching Vegas Vacation tonight as we do always on his birthday.  Then this weekend we are getting our Christmas tree!  Oh Tis the season!

It snowed a tiny bit today, but then it all melted because it rained.  Oh well.  We’ll get some soon enough!

The one act play auditions are coming up soon!  Wish me luck!

Sincerely,

Shea

Dear World,

Is it possible to be in love with books?  Or better yet, fictional characters?  I know you probably know the certain character that I am thinking of…yet, I can’t help it.  See, I have always been a truly independent soul, and would only be swooned by a guy with an accent and a beautiful way with words.

I am listening to Bella’s lullaby right now.  It is on repeat to the maximum.  Sigh, they just don’t make ’em like this anymore.

3 DAYS UNTIL THANKSGIVING!

One day until I am on vacation!

Life is good.  Life is beautiful.

Sincerely,

Shea

P.S. Is there such a thing as perfection?

Now I’m free, free fallen

Dear World,

So yesterday three of my best friends slept over and we watched the Clique movie.  I know, I know, it was tres CHEESY, but hey, we are girls, we secretly love it!

So next Thursday is Thanksgiving.  I am very excited.  All of the fam is coming to our house this year.  WHOOPIE.

SO I SAW TWILIGHT AND I KNOW THAT A TON OF PEOPLE HATE IT NOW OR WHATEVER, BUT I LOVED IT AND THIS IS COMING FROM SOMEONE WHO HATES FANTASY AND FOLLOWING THE CROWD, ETC., ETC., BUT THERE IS SOMETHING ABOUT IT THAT I REALLY CANNOT PUT INTO WORDS, AND NOW I AM DONE WITH THIS RANT.  Thanks.

I NEED to get new moon and eclipse and breaking dawn, I haven’t yet, but I have been busy.

I got into National Honor Society!!!!  That made my weekend.

I think I am done.  Au revoir mes amies!

Sincerely,

Shea

Dear World,

So do you want to know what I love?  Ok good.  I love cardigans.  And not playing basketball this year so that I will actually be happy and be able to act like I truly love.  Oh I also love fruit salad and boys that have nice faces from New Zealand.  I also like learning how to play guitar (soon) and the Twlight series (although I have three more to read ack).

I love that my glasses got fixed (even though I wear contacts 99.999999999% of my life, and so now they aren’t spectacles.  I love girl scouts and giving people presents.  I love girft wrapping for people at Border’s and working at food pantries.  I love that my best friends are coming over on Saturday so that we can watch the Click movie, (ahahahahha), and that I can be ridiculous around them.

I love.

So tomorrow I am going out to Bugaboo Creek tomorrow for my friend’s birthday!!!!!!!  This is exciting because 1) I love her and 2) I haven’t been to Bugaboo Creek since the second grade!  If you have ever been to one you know how exciting it is, (it’s a restaurant by the way)!

Oh I also love lacrosse, and books, just stacks of books.

Sincerely,

Shea

The heart of life is good

Dear World,

GAH, it’s almost Thanksgiving!  I love it!  Definitely an amazing day.  All of my family (well part of it) are coming to our house this year which means chaos, but not as bad as some families I suppose.

This is sort of going to be a random blog, just a heads up.

My hair is getting longer and I am SOOOOO happy.  I have wavy/curly ringlet hair so it looks so great when it is long.  Yet, last January I decided to  get it all chopped off, like ten inches, so that it would be healthy.  Well, I had to straghten it so it would not be poofy and 1) it was  a lot of work every day and 2) I didn’t want my hair to be fried, I wanted it to be healthy and natural.  Now it is very long again, ten months of waiting, but oh well.

So I am almost done Twlight.  Ugh, I know I know, I should be done by now, but I want to savor it and make it last!  I will go see it this weekend obviously, but I HAVE to finish it first!

I think I’ll go read, it motivated me.

Sincerely,

Shea

Dear World,

The reason for this upset is because of something I saw on the news.  Though I am not personally gay myself, I was deeply saddened to hear that Prop 8 in California passed, banning gay marraige in that state.  How can we claim to be land of the free when we do not use the qord equality to its full extent?  I get a sick feeling in my gut and my heart goes out to all who were affected by this prop.

I am aslo extremely sad because my dad commented saying that though he doesn’t agree with banning it, he doesn’t fully agree with gay marraige either.  WHAT?  THAT DOESN’T EVEN MAKE SENSE!  We are catholic, and I suppose he is trying to be on, but seriously dad, that is the most horrible thing that I have heard come out of your mouth.  You were supposed to be my hero and role-model, but you;ve dissapointed me to the full extent.  LOVE KNOWS NO GENDER and it is the haters out there that are stopping loved ones from finalizing that last and most beautiful step- marraige.

I hope most people are like my dad, and CAN understand and agree with it, at least me and my mom do!

Sincerely,

Shea

Dear World,

WE DID IT!  OBAMA IS PRESIDENT!  CHANGE HAS ALREADY HAPPENED AND MORE TO COME!  I AM INSPIRED!  I AM HOPEFUL!  I AM SO EXCITED!

I am, for the first time, proud to be an American.  I mean, of course, I felt strongly united after 9/11, but this is just the hope I, and the rest of the U.S. and world needed!  Barack Obama is leading the way to changing the world, and he has made history!

I am so glad that this is the first election where I was old enough to comprehend what was going on!  I loved being a part of it!

On a side note, though I have never had a real ‘boyfriend’ it has been over two years since I have even had a ‘fake two day thing’.  You know like the, ‘you don’t even hold hands just talk on aim’ thing?  Well it has even been two years since one of those and I am happy!  I am so used to being single (have been my whole life) and for the time being wouldn’t have it any other way.  There are always those people who seem to never be single, and I am for sure not one of them.  I am too independent to make time for anyone other than friends, family and myself.

Alright, I am off, verrrrrry tired.

Sincerely,

Shea

YES WE CAN!

Dear World,

So H&M was rather dishy, though not as amazing as Forever 21.  I got a cute cardigan and a cute french beret (that makes two now).  I also got a ton of jewlery at Claire’s because they had one of those 10 for $10 deals.  ANNNNND I got some jeans at Aeropostale because they have the only type of jeans I like (skinny-ish, short, cute).  And I got these two cut dresses at Target.  I know, I know, me too, I never would have thought I’d like stuff from there, but they have adorable desginer things.

So election day was today, though I won’t find out the results until tomorrow morning because of the time zones and such.  I am so excited/nervous.  This will determine if I move out of the country or not, I swear.

Obama, I have full trust in you, YES WE CAN!

Sincerely,

Shea

Change I can believe in.

Everyday is a winding road

November 2, 2008

Dear World,

I looooove fruit salad.  I know I have probably mentioned this before, but I just made some and it made me extra happy…

Anywho, last night I saw High School Musical 3…AGAIN!  My two very best friends hadn’t seen it yet, so being the super person I am, I went with them, and it was amazing the second time around too!\

Then I slept over and we talked about boys, haha, something I usually refrain from.  Today at church O had this epipahny.  See, when I was younger, the mass always took FOREVER.  Now it seems to go by fairly quicky…Is that a sign of growing up? AHHHH I DON’T WANT TO!

So yes, Tuesday is election day and I also don’t have school so I am meeting my mom after she works and we are going to H&M that just opened at my mall!  Forever 21 and H&M?!  I am in absolute heaven!

I am off to youth group.  Au Revoir!

Sincerely,

Shea

P.S. Is anyone else so excited for election day?!
